PEBBLES ON THE BEACH
The frozen play of children embodies whispers of purpose. Childhood
memories, slippery and nostalgic, infuse perceptions of the children's
concentrated play or a calling to stone play, to the gathering,
stacking, fumbling, skipping and rubbing of sun-bleached pebbles that
represents a timeless gesture of sensual connection to the shore.
